Suzuhara Misaki demos Angelic Evolution!

The Piffle Princess is absolutely packed as people from all over, young and old, friends and family, new reporters and Angelic Layer Inc. personnel mill about the newly installed Angelic Layers. Particularly interesting is the fact that the glowing tables now each have four seats, evenly placed apart in a cross pattern surrounding the Layer. Large banners drape overhead, the black and white ones removed in favor of red and white ones which proclaim, "The Angelic Evolution is here - ANGELIC LAYER ADVENTURES"

Despite the clammor of the crowd, which has reached almost deafaning levels in some areas which are more populated, the ever present Hiro is, well, pretty much asleep by the looks of it, since his head is leaned agasint the wall behind the bench he's seated at, with his guitar case leaning agaisnt the side of the bench itself. He hasn't moved or done anything, save for breathing, for quite a while now. Dressed for the cold weather, the young man looks a bit out-of-place, seeing as he's possibly the only Eriol student there who's not in their uniform or in some kinda of dressy attire.

Michael is at one of the chairs near to a "stage" if one could call it that. His large briefcase rests on his lap conserving space around him so that others might have a chance to sit down. He nods politely and verbally acknolwedges a plethora of students that greet him as they pass by, and agrees that his anticipation of the event has been such as much as theirs. He seems to be waiting for a verbal announcement, expecting that one would have to accompany such a large event. Either way his reputation as an unusual Deus has merited him a the attention of a few amdist such an eventful day. He indulges in a conversation with a nearby stranger while the events begin to proceed.

A small girl peeks from one of the doors leading to a private layer, blinking once or twice as her brown hair sways in it's confines. Her eyes go wide, and she ducks back into the doorway, where a muffled 'naaaaaa....' might be heard, if one were close enough. Thankfully, it's not time to go out there yet, there's so many of them!

Himiko stands around roughly near Layer 1, having given up on finding her clipboard after all this time. So much research gone to waste! At least she still has her headset's data. She peers about through the crowd, likely the quietest of everyone around, unless Hirotada doesn't! She idly strokes at her shrouded angel, curious as to what all these new signs have in store for the Angelic Layer as a whole.
The PA systems squelch to life, and a familiar voice asks quietly, "Is this on?" There's a shuffling sound, followed by a few clicks, then a couple 'hai-hai's' and then, "Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for coming to this event!" It's the voice of the announcer! "Sorry to keep you waiting! As you all know, Angelic Layer Incorporated has a remarkable history thus far. Debuting with the original Angelic Layer interface, this introduced to the world the wonders of brainwave controlled entertainment! We saw several incredible angels take to the arena, fighting for the right to face the Champion of the game."

The Layers flash to life, displaying holographically clips from several events. Athena performing her ultimate move: Astral Emission. Images of Kaede and Sai watching the arena from their usual perch at the railing. The flat layer glowing softly as angel after angel fought upon it's surface. "Then, we witnessed a breakthrough! The Holographic Scenery System!" The layers flashed to show off the Mountain where Athena fought the poor rabbit angel. The woods where Shirahime fought Eagle. The rose petal battlefield where Hikaru fought for the championship title. "Then finally, we witnessed the birth of a brand new Angelic Layer System!" Flash to Nawar's angel Drasil, a green force of nature definitely not human in form, then to several other angels, then a diagram of the feedback system. "And now...Angelic Layer Incorporated will be unveiling a brand new addition, the Evolution of Angelic Layer...a few moments please."

While Hiro himself didn't look as if he was going to 'wake up' anytime soon, one clumsy passerby manages to snap the boy out of his sleep/trance-like state as he trips and lands agasint the bench, rattaling it enough to force Hiro awake, just in time to catch his guitar case before it falls and hits the ground. As the man bows and apologizes, Hiro can only offer a rather blank expression, since he has no clue what is going on in his half-awake state and simply waves the incident off before streaching a bit and letting out a rather large yawn. Seeing as how he wanted to be here for this event, he tries to keep himself awake enough to actuly understand wahts going on around him. He pulls Rem from the inner pocket of his jacket and sets the black-clad Angel on his left shoulder before leaning back against the bench again, spreading his arms out across the back of it and watching the stage for now.

Michael pauses his conversation as the PA system comes on and the light show begins. He watches carefully recognizing nearly every angel in the display, a most any avid player of the game might, he could probably even name most of the Deus' belonging to the angels, and vice-versa. When the display ceases, Michael resumes his conversation with the nearby stranger, knowing that it will only be a short time before things progres forward, and there will be another show to see.

Misaki involuntarily gasped as she saw the Layers playing back all these moments in history, watching from the cracked-open door. Had Angelic Layer really come so far, so quickly? She grew wide eyed once again, then glanced down at Hikaru. "It's been an amazing journey, ne Hikaru?" She smiled, and took a deep breath. The next stage of the Angelic Layer Evolution promised to be very exciting, and her heart quickened at seeing Hikaru soar to new heights.

Himiko remains quiet, her attention now moving to the layer and remaining there. An interesting show seems to be unfolding, even if the duels aren't breaking out into incredible displays of mental fortitude. She crosses her arms just a wee bit more, seeming somewhat fascinated now.

"Sa...the moment you've all been waiting for. Angelic Layer Incorporated's research and development team has been hard at work creating new technologies to make the bond between Deus and Angel even more tangible. From being controlled by your thoughts, adding more realistic fighting surfaces, adding tactile feedback and the ability to create angels other than human, it has always been the goal of Angelic Layer to create a truly special experience. And today, the next stage of our journey begins: Angelic Layer Incorporated is proud to present: ANGELIC LAYER ADVENTURES!" The layers all flashed over an aerial perspective of a 3D representation of a Layer, surrounded by four chairs for four deuses. Technical schematics flowed by quickly, one over the other. "Angelic Layer Adventures, ladies and gentlemen, is a brand new experience that R&D had been developing under the watchful eye of the father of Angelic Layer, Mihara Ichirou-sama, over the past year. Building upon the unique opportunities the holographic systems created, Angelic Layer Adventures introduces cooperative play to the game, as well as something totally unheard of: social interaction between your beloved angels! Upon the floor we have several Angelic Layer Incorporated employees. Each one will be able to explain this new system in depth."

Hirotada's jaw damn-near hits the floor at the announcment. "Co-Op play? Woah... that's wild." He comments to himself before shutting up and listining to see if theres more thats going to be said or if any other suprises are going to be revieled tonight as well.

Michael tilts Oscar's hat slightly backwards without looking at the all too human looking angel. He smiles a carefully smug smile as if the action proved that he knew his angel well. His eyes shift and his head turns to regard the layer that the employees mentioned were near. He regards the explanations with a careful and critical eye, common to a teacher.

Misaki closes the doorway behind her, and takes a breath in her secluded room. Almost time. She gave Hikaru another smile, then paused, checking her angel over once more.

Himiko nods, not really realizing that she looks far too similar to one of these employees herself. In fact, her very motions seem to scream this out, a few people in the crowd coming up to ask her various questions about the new layer. She shrugs, exasperatedly, handing out 'I don't know's and 'I'm not an employee's in equal proportions. Of course, who's going to really notice unless they're that close to the front what she's said over the relative ruckus. Ack!

The Angelic Layer, Inc. employees began to instruct the public on how to play this new feature of their favorite game. At times, they hold up laminated cardboard cards with magnetic strips which show chibi versions of the most famous angels. The word 'Virtue' can be read upon all the cards, done in the same official font all other Angelic Layer merchandise bear.

The beach flicks by, and volleyball courts, watermelon stands, and barbeque pits have been added. On tables set next to the Layers, very different accessories are displayed. Immediately recognizable are hiking packs, water guns, purses and handbags, cameras, sleeping bags, and radios.

As the explanations wound to a close, (for the most part), the lights dimmed, and the announcer's voice once more echoed from the PA speakers. "Now that you all have had a chance to learn about Angelic Layer Adventures, we have a very special treat for you. Everyone who attends today's unveiling gets a complimentary set of beach gear for their angels! These packs have suntan lotion, inflatable beach balls, grills, beach blankets, umbrellas, sunglasses, and swimsuits! Further, we have for you today someone special to help demonstrate all these things to you...but first, we need three volunteers."

From the front row, Michael looks at his conversation partner and offers a smile and a gentle nod. He stands and walks over towards the layer, smiling at the people he passes and excusing himself. He reaches the edge of the layer, catching a little light off the edge, holding Oscar carefully in his hand. He raises his head to catch the attention of someone announcing, and nods his head that he's willing to participate.

Kogi enters the Training Center hall.
Kogi has arrived.

Himiko is slipping her way through the roaring ruckus of a crowd, almost bumping into Michael as he ascends to the stage. He, too, seems willing to try out the layer, just as Himiko wishes it. She holds up the shrouded angel, then thinks better of it, producing the one of the palest angels most have yet to see. She holds the black and jade adorned Yen-lo and hopes to be considered a volunteer.

Kurayami enters the Training Center hall.
Kurayami has arrived.

Yurei simply continues to lean against the wall, hoping not to make himself visible to others. He is very shy when it comes to crowds, and wishes to keep his angel's secret from the world. He smiles as other volunteer for the demonstration, and waits for it to begin.

Kogi comes running down the stairs his stuff in a massive jumble. He almost falls as he nears the crowd he is lost and just knows he has to be here. He holds his angel close to him and almost gets him smashed so he raises his angel and hand up as he goes though the crowds. He isn't able to tell but, he just signaled to volunteer as he walks forward. This boy looks out of breath.

Kurayami looks around in interest and walks around the layers, enjoying the view and sceneries that are presented. After a cursory glance, he walks near the wall and looks at the group gathered there.

Misaki finally steps out of the private Layer room, and immediately the people around her start flocking towards her. "...Naaaaaah!" Nearly overwhelmed, the poor girl who didn't really want to be famous lets out a cry of startlement. Thankfully, several Angelic Layer, Inc. employees appear to aid her. With the small debacle over, the current Champion of Angelic Layer makes her way towards the Layer. Getting into it, she waves to the crowd as she clears it, giving the first clear view of Hikaru dressed in her custom made swimsuit. A shoulderbag filled with beach goodies is suspended from the Angel's shoulder.

Over the PA System, the announcer once again speaks, "Please welcome our guest for today, and the current Angelic Layer Champion, the Miracle Rookie, Suzuhara Misaki!" The familiar chants of Mi-sa-ki-chi-Mi-sa-ki-chi fill the air, making it almost certain that the Champion's friends are close by, watching and cheering her on. "As you may know, the Champion soared to the finals beyond the expectations of anyone at the previous tournament. The daughter of the previous Angelic Layer Champion, she's a student at Eriol Gakuen and friends with the equally famous Kobayashi Hatoko!" The announcer pauses, presumably for a breath, before continuing. "Those who just volunteered are now being issued their very own beach gear. We'll give them a few moments to get ready."

Angelic Layer Inc personnel walk over to the four who had presumably volunteered, and begin explaining how the system works once again to them. Michael is taken to one side, while another intercepts Himiko with a look of bemusement on her face. "You look just like one of us." She comments, before handing over the beach gear. The third employee finds Kogi rather easily, and hands him the shoulderbag full of Angelic Layer goodies. "Thanks for volunteering. Here's the beach gear, I'll take you aside so you can put the swimsuit on your angel in privacy. What's his name?"

Himiko nods with a slight laugh of her own, "I suppose I do," she says, looking down over herself, after having taken the beach gear from the employee. She runs her hands back through her electric blue hair then ponders upon the very thought of old man Yen-lo in beach gear, prompting yet another giggle. "Domo Arigatou." She then offers a fairly prestigious looking bow and looks to the layers afterwards. "Wouldn't mind it to be just a coincidental visage, though...," she mutters to herself.

Yurei leans against the wall, bumping people once in a while to get a better view. He settles for standing awkwardly on a chair, which puts him just enough over the crowd that he can see. This looks like it will indeed be very entertaining to watch. He prepares to pay close attention, to facilitate future actions of his. He smiles a slightly crooked smile.

Kogi nods his head as he is given a bag of beach gear for a angel. He nods and trys his best to look like he knows what he doing. He speaks quitely as he smiles to the employee. "Thank you. I think I can get it on him easly." He smiles as he does his best to act like he knows what he is doing. He then thinks of how his demon like angel will look like in a swimsuit. He smiles at this lovely thought to himself.

Kurayami calmly looks at the volunteers being handed the swimsuit gears and just shrugs. But a small hint of humor crosses his face and he settles back to see what would come next.

Misaki had plenty of Angelic Layer Inc people nearby, but none to offer her her own beach gear since Hikaru already had all of it, so she sat down in the closest Layer seat, and looked around. Ah! Shouko-san! She waved to her aunt even as the cameraman that was always with her zoomed in on the Miracle Rookie.

Kurayami's watch starts to beep. He looks at it and jumps up in surprise and rushes out the door.

"While our volunteers get ready, I'd like to direct your attention to the items displayed on the tables beside the Layer. Angelic Layer Adventures is a fully realized new system for Angelic Layer, and as such we have plenty of accessories available that are fully functional on the Layer. The camera does in fact take pictures, for example, which are stored digitally and transmitted from the Layer to the Piffle Princess's repair booth. There you can pick up your pictures using the points on your Angel Card, or for a small fee. The suntan lotion is a special new formula that actually does aid your angel in getting a tan! This tan, like their real life counterparts, gradually fade with time."

"Angelic Layer Adventure radios are just what your angel needs to dance to music, or listen to the latest news, with reception far beyond their real life counterparts. No static here! And the Angelic Layer Adventure series of water guns is specially designed to interface with the holographic technology to accurately account for water in their tanks. Just like their real life counterparts, just fill, then fire!"

"Additional products will soon be hitting the shelves as well. Scooters and cars from major manufacturers, video games, a line of fantasy weapons to enhance your old fantasy campaign, pets, ...and still in development, but highly anticipated: Custom Layer Scenery cards, which will enable you to finally create and decorate a home for your Angel! Please look for these items soon!"

"Sorry folks, it looks like one of the volunteers' beach packages didn't come with the right size swimwear! While that gets taken care of, let's get started! In one corner, we have the Champion: Deus, Suzuhara Misaki! Angel: Hikaru!" Again, the crowd goes wild. "The miracle rookie defied all odds by beating all of the favorites, then surviving a direct Astral Emission!" He then continues, utilizing information obviously gleaned from the employees aiding the deuses. "In the next corner, Deus: Shinriki Himiko! Angel: Yen-lo! And in the third corner, a tournament competitor, Deus: Aojima Kogi, Angel: Reaper!"
LAYER: Kanno sets the layer scenery to BEACH.

LAYER: Hikaru fallin complete!
You gave Hikaru to Layer 1.
Misaki slips on her visor, and taps the side, activating the feather-like antennae and causing them to flap up. Then she takes up her angel, and holds her aloft with both small hands. "The wings of an angel! Please guide me and Hikaru! Angel! Fall in!" The thirteen year old sends her pink haired doll towards the Layer with a good toss that gives Hikaru a slight spin. Once the angel breaches the Layer's boundary, her eyes blink once, then twice, and she stretches in mid air before falling back down to land in the sand. Hikaru looks up, and smiles as she straightens..

LAYER: Reaper fallin complete!
Kogi moves to his place near the layer with his new dressed up angel or dressed down as thing are. He smiles as he opens his headset with a small press of the button on the side of it. The wings open as he speaks to his angel. "Lets have some fun my friend." He moves his angel to his hand and gives him a quick toss at the layer. "Angel Fallin." His angel hits the layers energy and opens his wings with a few flaps. He then slowly flaps to decend to the sand of the beach. He lands with a thud and the sand flys back a little as he closes his wings looking about the layer with his new shades..

LAYER: Yen-lo fallin complete!
Himiko produces her own, custom visor and slips it on, the lens lighting up in a faint blue. Honestly, it doesn't look too far removed from the visor that KOS-MOS wore in Xenosaga, but enough about that. She leans forward, giving only a light toss to the elderly looking angel who doesn't seem to really care that he's falling, taking a somewhat leisurely posture until he stops, hovering a couple inches from the top of a beach chair. The angel itself is perhaps the first to speak within this new setting, saying, "Good aim." He then plops into the beach chair, crossing his legs and looking quite at home..

Yurei watches this scene intently, hoping to be able to do something like that himself, after this demonstration. He is leaning slightly forward on the chair, putting him in a slightly perilous position...


"Now! Angelic..." The announcer appears to falter for the very first time in recorded history. "Ah-ha, it's not really a fight is it?! Well then! Angelic Adventure!" and with this, the PA clicks shut, and the announcer makes his way out of one of the private rooms. Apparently he wants to watch the action himself! For those not yet accustomed to his outfit, it's a very interesting combination of purplish suit with a polka-dotted bow tie and a pair of wraparound green-rimmed glasses that seem more suited for Cyclops or Geordi La Forge than for the announcer of a game such as Angelic Layer. He also looks much smaller now that he's on the ground rather than way up in the air. There are plenty of things to do on the Beach it seems, the Angelic Layer R&D team did their job well. There are jetskis bobbing in the water, paddleboats, volleyball nets blowing in the breeze, barbeque pits complete with several ice chests filled with marinated meats, and other wonderful diversions. A watermelon vendor is towards the street, right next to the snocone vendor, and there are bicycle rentals available too! And this is just the obviously available things. Still, with all this, the beach looks like the perfect peaceful location, just right for working on a tan, while reading a book.

On the layer, Hikaru blinks once, then twice, also seemingly a bit confused. Then she sets down her shoulderbag and begins to rummage through it. The very first thing she finds and pulls out are a pair of nice, dark sunglasses, which she unfolds with a delighted expression on her face. The pink haired angel slips these on, and with a smile gives a thumbs up to the audience. "Naaaaah! this is so cool!" exclaims the angel. She next pulls out an inflatable beachball, and sets to work...well...inflating it of course!
Yurei is balanced on his chair, intent on the action. So intent, in fact, that the chair wobbles forward a bit, and then tips forward at an alarming speed. Yurei falls off of the chair, onto the ground, and on top of several people. Blushing furiously, he apologizes to the people he fell onto, and then continues to watch the match... or rather, beach scene. He is hoping to see some interesting things, and plots a way to get a layer reserved for himself sometime soon, so he can host a layer scene! It looks so cool! and all that gear... Yurei finds himself thinking of ways to get enough money for that. He has always been interested in angel accessories, and hopes to perhaps increase his collection.

On the layer, Yen-lo merely does his thing, resting in the chair, for a moment before getting up. Hm. Did someone say drinks?! The old man begins moving towards the area where the vendors seem lined up. After tugging the waistband about his trunks a little tighter, he reaches into his back pocket and produces enough yen to purchase a lemonade from the largely unmentioned vendor that stands between the watermelon stand and the snocone stand. He holds the glass in his left hand after turning to the audience, making the V symbol and explaims "Victoly!" Yes, that isn't a typo, see Samurai Showdown for proof.

On the layer, Reaper looks about and doesn't take long before he starts to walk around. He looks at all the things he can do and smiles a grin. He opens his wings and takes to the air toward the water. He flys strait up then dives down with speed. He gives a high "HHHAAAHOOOO" as he hits the water. His now wet head pops back up from under the water with a grin on his face. He then starts to swim back toward shore happy as can be.

The crowd alternately laughs and cheers, or claps delightedly as the angels begin to have fun on the Layer, and make sure they know it too! Meanwhile, the Angelic Layer Inc. Employees begin handing out the beach packs that the Angels on the Layer are delighting in.

On the layer, Hikaru finishes blowing up her beachball, then runs over to the other two angels, actually laughing along with her deus at the sight of Kogi's angel taking a very interesting dive! "Ooh, they have vendors too!" She notices. It seems as if this angel is going to have a field day. Misaki meanwhile continues giggling, "Naaaaaah! This is so cool!"

On the layer, Yen-lo nods to Hikaru and offers, "I have some more yen, would you like something?" The angel has a broad smile on his lips, though nothing looking all together devious. "They've got tea, lemonade and soda here, as well as Watermelon over there and Snocones here. Isn't it great? We don't have to battle!" He seems particularly peachy about that. Seems he never really liked to fight, anyhow.. and that was reflected in his style.

On the layer, Reaper comes out of the water with a smile on his face. His wings open a little as he drys them off. He walks forward a little and stops to look at the angels that he looks at the angels he shares the layer with. He smiles again as he speaks up. "Ah this is cool." He opens his wings and starts to fly forward and and flys around the beach as he looks around as he flys about.

"Isn't it though?" she replies to his statement.

On the layer, Yen-lo nods, procuring a wallet seemingly overflowing with yen. Who knew!? "Both, then?" He snickers slightly, having plenty to entertain all. Yes, it turns out that Yen-lo is the benevolent, rich old man who everyone likes. "What about you?" He turns, looking to the winged one right before he flies off... "Or.. not?" The old man can't help but laugh at his own timing.

Fukata has arrived.

On the layer, Reaper flys around and soon is over the water again. He flys around as he croses the water. He smiles as he reachs down and touchs the water before landing slowly back on the beach. He turns toward the many things he can play with thinging what to do.

The Piffle Princess is absolutely packed as people from all over, young and old, friends and family, new reporters and Angelic Layer Inc. personnel mill about the newly installed Angelic Layers. Particularly interesting is the fact that the glowing tables now each have four seats, evenly placed apart in a cross pattern surrounding the Layer. Large banners drape overhead, the black and white ones removed in favor of red and white ones which proclaim, "The Angelic Evolution is here - ANGELIC LAYER ADVENTURES"
The Layer is currently displaying the beach, slightly modified with volleyball courts, watermelon stands, and barbeque pits. On tables set next to the Layers, very different accessories are displayed. Immediately recognizable are hiking packs, water guns, purses and handbags, cameras, sleeping bags, and radios.

On the layer, Hikaru naaaaahs softly, "We can have both? Demo, isn't that too much?" But she's seen the wallet full of angel-sized yen, and giggles. "Maybe we should give the watermelon to Reaper so he can drag it through the water when he goes swimming again."

On the layer, Yen-lo snickers, "Nothing wetter than wet watermelon." He nods, at this point and offers her the money, "You go get the snocone, I'll get the watermelon." After giving her the money, presuming she takes it, he walks over to the watermelon stand, "A whole one, please." He lays the money on the counter and the vendor nods, "Hai!," going about getting the watermelon.


On the layer, Reaper smiles as he walks over and leans down in a beach chair. He folds his wings up as to lay down on his back. He smiled as he looks up at the lovely scene. "I think I like this new system alot. We can have alot of fun this way." He then got up and walked over toward the vender.

Yurei decides he can hold back no longer. He has to join in this very cool new system. Shoving his way through the thick crowd, he walks over to one of the aides, and whispers in his ear.
On the layer, Hikaru scurried over to the ice vendor after taking the money offered, and held up a hand, for the moment forgetting about the beachball in her grasp. "One Lemon please!" She called out to the vendor, then blinked as the the ball bounced away. "...naaaah..." She looked towards the ball, and said to the vendor, "Just a sec!" Retrieving the ball, she then returned in time to pick up the frozen treat with her other hand, then she headed towards Yen-lo and Reaper, smiling.

The aide nodded, and smiled. "Deus and Angel?" He asked, then since the beach gear had been distributed already, he gestured for the announcer, and the two conferred. The announcer went back into the booth then, and the PA crackled to life once more. "In the final corner on Layer One. Deus: Watanabe Yurei! Angel: Raidia joins the beach party!"

LAYER: Raidia fallin complete!
Yurei throws Raidia gently onto the layer, displaying a fluidity and grace of motion that is unexpected from such a plain looking kid. He speaks as he throws, and the words are easily audible. "Have fun, Raidia!" as he moves his lips. The angel lands gently and gracefully on the layer, and strides forward with the grace of a cat. She looks around at the scenery, trying to decide what to do first..

Layer 1

The lamps above the layer shine brightly as the beach scenery is projected onto the layer. The layer surface is divided into two parts, the beach and the sea. Farthest from the sea there are several rolling sand dunes which lead into a beach. The cresent-shaped beach itself has beautiful yellow sand, but the sand gives way to shells the closer the angels' get to the water. The sea itself is very shallow, various reefs and sandbars being the cause of this. The light blue, almost green waters sparkle from the heat of the sun, throwing about rays of light that, from the beach, seem to dance.
All about the area there are various forms of life. In the sky there are seagulls, on the beach there are hermit crabs, and in the sea there are fish and turtles. At either end of the layer, starting from the beach and ending in the sea, there are sets of piled up rocks that make a jetty, which provides for a nice calm surf. The waters gently lap away at the beach, making it an idea harbor for ships and angels alike. Here and there, palm trees are scattered in groups of two or threes, providing minimal shade form the blistering sun, but the sun is generally no concern for those who love to sunbathe.

Raidia is an angel that looks like a female in medieval times. She has brown hair that goes down past her shoulders, and green eyes that remind you of emeralds. She is dressed in an emerald green bikini, which shows off her very nice figure. She wears a pair of flip-flops on her feet, which are brightly colored and a fashion item. She looks agile and healthy, full of life and vitality. The way she moves is like the wind over grass, full of grace. She has a pair of floppy golden bracelets around her hands. On the bracelets are strange runic inscriptions. A smirk is on her face.

On the layer, Raidia wanders around on the soft sand, holding her bag, and thinking deeply. She finally decides that she wants a snocone, but has no money. "Ummmm, Yen-lo? On the layer, Yen-lo nods, digging through the wallet and coming up with ample yen and gives it to Raidia. "Sure thing, get a good one!" He then turns about and receives the extra-large watermelon. He turns to Reaper, "Care to help an old man carry a watermelon half as big as he is?" He offers a slightly devious grin, "It's more than enough for everyone." With that, the grin comes to a laugh. "I love this.. there's enough for everyone!"

On the layer, Reaper smiles as he walks up and nods at the older looking angel. "Be glad to help you out there." He walks up near the vender and waits for the watermelon to be ready to be carryed away and eaten. They are in luck Reaper is one of the strongest angels around.

Masamune enters the Training Center hall.
Masamune has arrived.

On the layer, Raidia walks up to the snocone vendor, and timidly asks for a grape flavored one. She waits around for a while, and then gratefully accepts the snocone, placing some yen on the counter. She licks at it happily, like a small child. She smiles, and then watches the other angels contently, continuing to lick her snocone.

On the layer, Raidia licks her snocone too vigorously, and it falls onto the ground. She is sad for a few moments, but then realizes there is still watermelon. She gives up on the snocone idea, and walks over to peer at the watermelon, which looks very delicious.

On the layer, Reaper flys forward and grabs a watermelon and lifts it above his head. He holds it over his head with a smile and walks forward a little leaving dents from his weight. He also hopes the old man pays as he doesn't want to steal things or at least he doesn't think he wants to.

On the layer, Yen-lo nods, laying the necessary yen up on the counter and goes on after Reaper. "Domo Arigatou!" He then takes a couple steps then shrugs, hovering on after. He moves over to the beach chairs he'd been lying in points to the sturdy table they were all laid out near. "Put it there, I'll do the slicing." He grins, getting his aura ready and a single, paper-thin energy tendril ready to do the handiwork.

On the layer, Reaper moves with a little effort and leaves little dents in the sand. He speeds up and lays down the large watermelon with a smile. He stands back not wanting the watermelon to get on him yet. He also brings his wings down a little to hold a little screen of his wings to block what may happen.

It could get annoying with time, but it is very cute in the meantime. "Can I have some watermelon too, Yen-lo-san?" she asks, sounding cute.

Thick or thin slices?" He goes about slicing a piece for himself, in the meantime, less out of impatience or lack of courtesy, but because he's the one doing it and he knows how much he wants.

On the layer, Hikaru had gotten distracted again, and she'd wandered off to look at a curious looking seagull the Layer had generated. Having finally gotten tired of the bird, she returned to where the other angels were, while eating her snocone. Then she winced. "...itaiii!" She dropped the beachball, and squinted one eye as she held her head. Obviously, the angel didn't know not to eat snocones too quickly.

On the layer, Raidia appears to think for a moment, before saying, "A normal slice, not too thin and not too thick, please." She bounces up and down emphatically. ~Watermelon!~ She does a happy little dance.

Chibi smiles and waves hello. ^^

On the layer, Reaper smiles as he spots the angel with the snowcone get a brain freeze. He is gives a smile as he remebers who she is. "You shouldn't eat to fast." He turns back to the older angel with a smile. "I would like a large peice please." He gives a anime like toothy grin as he smiles with closed eyes.

Chibi looks curiously around the room, wondering what all the commotion is about, due to the many people crowding around the Layer. She then notices the large letters which read, 'The Angelic Evolution is here - ANGELIC LAYER ADVENTURES'. Understanding this is an Angelic Layer event, she quietly stands behind the many people, excitedly watching the layer, though keeping to herself.

On the layer, Yen-lo does just that, going about slitting the watermelon rather accurately. Seems he's much better when not under pressure, when it comes to accuracy. Several slices are cut in either style and some more in various slices.. accomodating everyone. He then slips back and stretches out, enjoying his own watermelon.

On the layer, Raidia accepts the watermelon with a smile, and eats it quickly and messily. Watermelon juice gets all over! Raidia discards the watermelon rind, and looks herself over. Raidia notices that she is all sticky! She decides to go jump in the water, to wash herself off. She runs across the white sands, tosses off her flip-flops, and dives into the water with the grace of an expert swimmer. She is shocked at first by the cold, but then gets used to it, and dives under the water. She surfaces after a while to breathe, and looks out at the other angels, motioning for them to join her.

On the layer, Hikaru 's turn to smile. "naaaaaah! Reaper, you have seeds all over!" She giggles, before peering at the watermelon slices. She still had a lot of snocone left to munch through, but that watermelon looked so good too.


On the layer, Raidia splashes and plays in the ocean, like a dolphin. So happy and free! She swims and swims and swims some more, smiling and laughing. Then she comes back out of the water, and onto the sand, where she spreads a towel and lies down to work on her tan.

As time progressed, other Layers began to open for use, allowing the crowds to get their turns. The free beach gear was still being offered to all the people streaming in from outside, and the sounds of cash registers ringing upstairs let everyone know that the accessories were selling fast. However, for the demo which was going so smoothly, a sad event was about to occur: The demo's time was about to run out. The Angelic Layer, Inc. personnel headed over and whispered in the ears of each of the players that the second showing of the system was about to begin, so they had to get Layer 1 ready once more. Still, everyone seemed captivated at what was going on within the Layer, and even the employees seemed reluctant to let it end.

On the layer, Reaper smiles as he finsh up his watermelon with a large bite. He closes his wings and dives toward the ground and pulls up and drops whats left in a trashcan as he flys by. He flys up again and archs in a quick motion. He smiles as he stop high in the air. "Only one way to clean off after a meal. Cannon ball." He flys up archs and dives and closes his wings and falls toward the water. He hits with a huge splash that rains down after the hit. Reaper comes back up in a and swims back toward the beach.

Yurei reluctantly sighed and nodded, acknowledging that it was time for him to go. He had much fun here, and was sorry that it had to end as well. Still, he had an appointment to keep somewhere else, and so he retrieved his angel and turned to go, happy that he had participated, but sad that it was over. He climbed the steps of the Piffle Princess toy store, and departed, after bowing to the audience.

Yurei takes Raidia from Layer 1.

On the layer, Yen-lo merely leans back into his chair and chills, munching watermelon. Yeh.. chillin' like a villain, yo. That's whent he Master Roshi looking angel gets splashed by the cannonball. He sputters and scowls for a moment then laughs when he realized what'd happened. Even still, he pushes his chair a bit out of the way, now under an umbrella. He seems quite content indeed.

Misaki looks fairly disappointed as she hears the news. She had really wanted to stick around and play with these other angels with Hikaru! Oh well, maybe another time? The pink haired angel gave the old man a hug, then waved to the other two angels, cheerful that she'd have a chance to try this once again later on. She calls out, "Naaah! Time already? It was fun, though! I hope I get a chance to play with you all again!" She giggles as she gets splashed by the cannonball's water. Angelic Layer just keeps getting better and better!

On the layer, Reaper comes out of the water and shakes the water off dog style. He then turns as he knows it time to go. Reaper opens his wings and flys up again and waves good by to all the nice angels. He smiles as he flys back and then forward full speed toward his owner. He passes though the energy wall and falls limp but, his forward motion keeps going as his owner catchs him. Kogi smiles as he stands up and grabs the gear he was given. There was happy for the new system and its possiblitys. He waves as he starts to leave. "I was glad to have fun and meet you all. I hope we can duel and have fun again." He starts to walk up the stairs as he waves to all the people.

Farthest from the sea there are several rolling sand dunes which lead into a beach. The cresent-shaped beach itself has beautiful yellow sand, but the sand gives way to shells the closer the angels' get to the water. The sea itself is very shallow, various reefs and sandbars being the cause of this. The light blue, almost green waters sparkle from the heat of the sun, throwing about rays of light that, from the beach, seem to dance.
All about the area there are various forms of life. In the sky there are seagulls, on the beach there are hermit crabs, and in the sea there are fish and turtles. At either end of the layer, starting from the beach and ending in the sea, there are sets of piled up rocks that make a jetty, which provides for a nice calm surf. The waters gently lap away at the beach, making it an idea harbor for ships and angels alike. Here and there, palm trees are scattered in groups of two or threes, providing minimal shade form the blistering sun, but the sun is generally no concern for those who love to sunbathe.

Name: Yen-lo Deus: Shinriki Himiko
Yen-lo wears a rich garment encompassing the various colors of jade. The two tone green hat matches the undershirt that outstretches his arms, leaving the hands hidden deep within their depths when gravity is against the flow of the angel's movements. The inside of either of these garments is a light green and can be seen, as the hat's height has been folded out, in such a manner that it fits snugly over the angel's shortly cropped white mane. The angel's eyes seem to be fair, yet stern, even though they maintain a single solid color, depending on it's 'mood' in the layer, or black outside. The vestements that stretch out over the bulk of the rest of his torso is black, with jade green and white accents upon the center. They almost seem to change of their own volition, at times, when within the layer. The pants, matching the bulk of the under-ensemble, are two toned green. Upon his feet are the shoes typical of a master, wooden clogs. Within the layer, a crackling aura of almost transparent energy enshrouds the angel, brightening and fading depending on his current state.

As the other deuses leave, another employee comes up to let Himiko know it's time to go, but he stops and looks at the angel falling asleep, and blinks. "Does he always do that?" He asks.
Himiko waves her hand slightly, "Shh... he's dreaming. This is fascinating stuff. Must.. get.... DATA!"
Misaki slips off her visor, and smiles to the crowd still lingering about. "It's really fun! You guys have got to try it!" She calls out. Happily, she heads back to her Private Layer room, where she last emerged to get ready for her next demo.

The employee's curiousity is piqued, however so he continues asking, though he lowers his voice at least. "He's dreaming? Isn't it more you're able to see your own dreams in a mirror-like context?" Clearly, this man thinks too much.

Himiko goes to write this down.. and... argh! Her clipboard. She grumbles frustratedly, touching the visor and shutting it off. "You're right, that's true... but I don't have my clipboard to take note of it." She then grumbles profusely, SOMEHOW escaping anyprofanities. She then looks up with broad smile, "May be working with you one day, I suppose I'll get all the time in the world to study them then." She snickers a bit, then, picking up the sleeping Yen-lo.

Himiko nods, though, "It's probably the truth.. yet.. I've never had dreams quite like that, with fully feasible android physics combining with spiritual elements. I'd almost swear that angel is self-aware." She stretches a little, looking to the employee and prepares for her dismount from the layer to allow room for others.

The guy steps aside to allow Himiko better room to move. At the concept of angels being self-aware, he smiles. "Not yet, but we're getting closer all the time." Then he chuckles, and heads out, to arrange things for the next showing.
